Instructor

Jessye L.B. Talley, PhD is Associate Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Morgan State University, where she runs the Risk Optimization Management and Evaluation (R.O.M.E) Lab. Funded by the National Science Foundation, her current research focuses on applying operations research methods to address supply chain management as well as utilizing qualitative methods for engineering education. Upon completion of her graduate studies at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, she co-founded Sisters Scholars to promote health and wellness during the doctorate and in academia. Her experience as a tenure track professor prompted her to begin coaching new faculty during their pre-tenure years, resulting in an ongoing consultation firm. In addition to having delivered presentations at both national and international conferences, Dr. Talley has published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Applied Mathematical Modelling, Health Systems, and Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
