Will Coghill-Behrends, PhD is Dean of Global Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where his focus is on expanding global education initiatives within the College of Education. Winner of the prestigious Audrey Qualls Diversity Award and Mary Jo Small Development Fellowship, Dr. Coghill-Behrends is now a leading authority on navigating academic careers, culminating in his seminal texts: The PhD Handbook to the Academic Job Search, CV Handbook: A Curriculum Vitae Owner’s Manual, and Getting Hired. He received his doctorate from the University of Iowa, where he later served as Co-Director of the Linda R. Baker Teacher Leader Center as well as Clinical Associate Professor in Multilingual Education. Prior to his faculty appointment, he coordinated and led several programs at the university on academic and professional job seeking for individuals with professional graduate degrees. In addition to having delivered conference presentations across the globe, Dr. Coghill-Behrends has published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Behavioral Education and Journal of College Student Development.
